What are the drying equipment for indirect drying
In today’s market, drying equipment is divided into indirect and direct drying, while indirect drying equipment can dry products including pharmaceuticals, photochemicals, agrochemicals or explosives, as well as specialty chemicals with sensitive characteristics.
Paddle dryers operate in a horizontal plane and have a cylindrical vessel with multiple paddle agitators at each end. In most designs, the heated fluid circulating through the vessel walls also flows through the agitators. The combination of agitator movement and heating elements makes the machine ideally suited for efficient mixing and heat transfer. In addition, the support structure of the agitator allows for the handling of highly sheared or lumpy solids and the discharge of product through an outlet at the bottom of the cylindrical housing.
Versatile and batchable disc drying equipment, this machine can handle a wide variety of solids, including wet cakes or slurries. The equipment consists of a vessel shell surrounding a vertically or horizontally mounted rotor, with a series of discs placed at an angle and connected to a tubular rotor. The heated fluid flows not only through the vessel walls but also through the rotors and discs, resulting in a high heat transfer area.
